    Watch selected presentations from The Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz's one day PreConference track, focused on building and strengthening sustainable food businesses, with "Seed" and "Grow" tracks tailored toward beginning and experienced entrepreneurs.

 

  • VIDEO: National Good Food Network Webinar: Community Food Enterprise
    The National Good Food Network is an initiative of the Wallace Center at Winrock International working to scale up the value chain of good food--food that is healthy, green, fair and affordable--into more retail, wholesale, and institutional markets, and provide greater access traditionally underserved communities. In January, their free monthly webinar featured Michael Shuman, CFE lead author and co-project director, with Mike Lorentz of Lorentz Meats (featured CFE), discussing the role of CFEs in scaling up good food.

    

  • GRANT OPPORTUNITY (Note-The deadline for this opportunity has now passed): Wallace Center's Healthy Urban Food Enterprise Development Center
    The Wallace Center has recently announced a new grant program, funded by USDA's National Institute for Food and Agriculture, focused on supporting new and existing food enterprises that increase access to healthy food for urban, rural, and underserved communities.
